This coffee has a very pleasant and satisfying aroma, and a full body coming from the dark roast. Still, the coffee has a vibrant acidity with cherry nuances.
This coffee is grown in the highlands north of Nairobi and is produced by SOCFINAF. SOCFINAF operates with 9 coffee estates with a central coffee mill in Ruiru (about 25 km from Nairobi). Located on red, fertile, volcanic soils on the foothills of the Aberdare Mountain at altitudes of approx. 1,700 m, the SOCFINAF coffee estates are in an ideal environment for the production of Arabica coffee.
